SDG 07 AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY

A real-time app aligns Wintercircus' energy use with actual occupancy at every event moment.

Energy-efficient LED lighting across the building cuts electricity use, maintenance and waste.

Beyond green energy supply, Eneco also co-hosts events on the energy transition at the Wintercircus.

34-borehole BEO field heats and cools Wintercircus fossil-free, sharing energy with De Krook.

The BMCC’s green roof captures and buffers rainwater, improves air quality and helps regulate the building’s indoor temperature.

Energy-efficient LED lighting across the building cuts electricity use, maintenance and waste.

A computer-controlled system and heat recovery cut energy use and emissions across the venue.

BMCC reduces its environmental impact through energy-efficient design and renewable energy solutions.

The BMCC in Bruges is equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting, reflecting the sustainable design of the nearly energy-neutral building.

BMCC generates renewable energy through an extensive rooftop solar installation through community support.

The BMCC uses motion and occupancy sensors to further reduce energy consumption.

One switch at the exit turns off all the lights in the building, preventing forgotten lights.
