Sustainable Water Management

Following Green Key guidelines, the BMCC actively limits its water consumption through three practical measures:

  • water-saving heads and flow restrictors on showers and taps
  • low-flush toilet systems, and the reuse of collected rainwater for flushing and irrigating greenery
  • reducing reliance on treated drinking water across the board.

Sustainability added value: Water consumption carries a hidden environmental cost — energy is required at every stage of its production, heating, transport and treatment. By combining efficient fixtures, low-flush systems and rainwater reuse, the BMCC addresses this full cycle, conserving clean drinking water, reducing energy use and lowering operational costs, all in line with internationally recognised Green Key standards.
