Free 24/7 covered bicycle parking for 542 bikes right next to the Wintercircus encourages cycling.
Located in the cycling-friendly city of Ghent, the Wintercircus is easy to reach by bike. Visitors can use the Fietsenparking De Krook, a covered bicycle parking facility directly next to the venue’s western entrance on Miriam Makebaplein, just below the De Krook library. Spread across two underground levels, it offers 542 spaces, including 30 spots for oversized bicycles. The parking is reachable via a dedicated bike ramp, a bike lift and an entrance on the Korianderstraat, is free of charge and accessible 24/7. Bicycles cannot be brought inside the Wintercircus building itself.
Sustainability added value: Generous, free and well-located bicycle parking removes one of the biggest practical barriers to choosing the bike over the car. By aligning with a high-capacity public facility right at its doorstep, the Wintercircus actively encourages low-emission mobility for visitors, members and staff, reducing the transport footprint of every event held on site.
