The BMCC is the first venue in Flanders to receive the M+ label from Visit Flanders, officially recognising it as highly accessible conference infrastructure.

The certification goes beyond wheelchair accessibility to cover visitors with visual or hearing impairments as well, and verifies that all separately rentable spaces can be used comfortably and independently by everyone.

The building was designed with logical, intuitive wayfinding in mind — ensuring that despite its multiple level differences, seamless accessibility is guaranteed throughout.

Sustainability added value: Accessibility is a fundamental dimension of social sustainability.

As the first meeting venue in Flanders to hold the M+ label, the BMCC sets a clear benchmark for the sector — giving event organisers the verified assurance that every one of their guests, including those with a disability, is truly and fully welcome.
