The signage at the Event Sector Congress was developed in consultation with INTER, ensuring it meets the needs of visitors with visual impairments. This includes the use of appropriate fonts in sufficient sizes, high-contrast colours between text and background, and avoiding text placed on busy or cluttered backgrounds — all in line with INTER’s Checklist for Accessible Events.
Sustainability added value: Signage is one of the first things an attendee encounters at an event — and for people with visual impairments, poor contrast or small lettering can immediately create a barrier to independent navigation. By designing signage in active consultation with accessibility experts, the organiser ensures that wayfinding and information are genuinely readable and inclusive for every attendee from the moment they arrive.
